BACKGROUND STORY MAKES THIS UNIQUE ANTIQUE GEM
This chair was gifted to Richard by the Ogilvy (Aristocratic) family who are related to the British Royal Family. Lady Alexandra Ogilvy, a first cousin of Queen Elisabeth II, inherited it from the Royal Household.
Lady Alexandra Ogilvy (Royal Lady of the Garter) wanted to get the chair reupholstered. The task was left to Richard. When the reupholstered chair was completed and due for return, Lady Alexandra Ogilvy said he may as well keep it - which he did and this original Queen Anne Wing Back Armchair became Richard's reading chair for over 30 years. After a complete modern renovation of the family home in Muswell Hill, London, Richard decided to get it reupholstered again, this time passing it on to AVONNOVA™ INTERIORS DECORATIVE DESIGN AND APPLIED ART
