    Vase has a pot belly compressed global form. A pumpkin shaped flambe glazed bottle vase with chilong dragon handles flanked on the neck, with flared opening at the top

    Flambe:  Furnace Transmutation - pattern and colour change in the kiln while firing a ceramic glaze at extremely high temperature

    Colourway:  A deep red glaze with tones of purple and dark blue

    White externally under base and internally

  • AESTHETICISM:

    The size weight and exceptionally beautiful glazing and colouring is enough to enhance the value of this piece.  A type of beauty which is eclectic in nature
